Mike Whyte, President of EWASTE+ for nearly 28 years, will retire from his position. Andrew Vermette, currently serving as Vice President, will succeed him as President.

Drawn to the ITAD industry by a commitment to uncovering value in discarded technology; Whyte turned his passion into a thriving business. Under his leadership, EWASTE+ achieved numerous milestones, including the diversion of over 300 million pounds of electronic waste from landfills and helping define the role of IT asset disposition in the circular economy. Andrew Vermette, who has been with EWASTE+ for 13 years and in the industry for over 20 years, has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth in all phases of the business including operations, technology, logistics and finance while enhancing EWASTE’s reputation for client-focused innovation. As President, Vermette will continue to focus on advancing the company’s commitment to sustainability, operational excellence, financial success and ensuring EWASTE+ continues to lead and excel in the ITAD industry for years to come.
